An original pair of knitted wool British Army officer's private purchase gloves which belonged to a Scottish officer who served with the Royal Artillery during WW2.
The gloves are typical of those used during the Second World War and are either a private purchase or home made pair. Many women knitted 'comfort' items for the forces and this could well be one such item. It is made from the standard khaki green coloured wool.
Both gloves are in good condition with no serious flaws or signs of excessive use.
A guaranteed original wartime item in great condition.
