An excellent example of RAF OA trousers dated 1949 but identical to wartime pattern.
This pattern of trousers came into use with the RAF during the 1930s and stayed in service well into the 1950s. The trousers feature a fishtail back, a slash pocket to each hip and black horn brace buttons around the outside of the trousers.
The original label is still present inside the trousers and states 'Trousers O.A. Size 27' as well as a faint date of 1949. Sadly the rest of the label is to worn to read.
The trousers are in good condition showing no signs of wear or moth damage except for two small holes to the left leg.
These trousers came with the tunic listed above and would make a nice matching set if purcahsed together.
Overall a fantastic pair of trousers which display very well and would suit the collector and re-enactor alike!
