An original pair of 1944 Dated Indian made British Army khaki drill trousers in well used condition.
These trousers are typical of Indian manufactured KD which was so prolific during the Second World War. The feature a first field dressing pocket to the front, brace buttons and a button fly. The button for the FFD pocket is missing but could easily be replaced.
Inside the trousers bare numerous stamps which are again typical of Indian manufactured items. On stamp features ‘MC’ which is the manufactures name and 1944 which is the date. There are numerous other stamps including size stamps etc. The trousers measure at a 30” waist.
I would describe the condition as well worn. Whilst the trousers still display well they have numerous repairs and areas of wear. I have endeavoured to photograph this as well as I can and have also taken it into consideration when pricing the trousers.
Altogether though, still a nice pair of orignal wartime khaki drill trousers with a good wartime date.
