An original pair of 1946 pattern which are dated 1946 and original belonged to Sgt. Skoulding, KOSB.
These trousers came into issue in 1946 to replace the 1940 (austerity) pattern trousers, although the pattern was hardly changed. The only real difference is that inside the waist band there are twice as many brace buttons as in the 1940 pattern!
The trousers retain their original label which is in good condition and states the size as size no. 7.
The trousers are I very good condition as can be seen in the photographs and would display well. There is a small amounted of mothing as is common with clothes of this age but this is not noticeable when the trousers are worn.
These trousers are ideal to fill a gap in a ww2 collection or for a re-enactor as they are identical to wartime pattern trousers from the outside.
