An original British Army private purchase or comfort charity knitted khaki wool scarf in good condition.
This scarf belonged to a gunner in the Royal Artillery who was stationed in Northern Island in around 1941-42. It no doubt saw plenty of use during his time stationed there but is nonetheless still in very good condition. It is long in length and made from a typical khaki green coloured wool. There are a few holes but overall it displays well.
A nice original item which is of guaranteed World War Two vintage.
