An original men's bib front evening shirt dating from the Edwardian period and in used condition.
This shirt is typical of those worn during the late Victorian period through to the 1920s. It is made from a high quality cotton and features a neckband collar to which a detachable collar is usually worn. The front of the shirt features a bib section which has a fantastic pleat detail. The cuffs are barrel style and the front of the shirt features a half placket which would have been worn with shirt studs.
The shirt will suit 38" chest and when laid flat it measure -

Inside arm - 20"
Outside arm - 23"
Shoulders - 16"
Length - 35"
Collar - 14"
The shirt is in worn condition and has various staining as well as a rip to one of the sleeves. These flaws are illustrated in the pictures and reflected in the price. Please bear in mind that this is a pre-worn shirt with flaws before purchasing.
