An original men's five button navy blue waistcoat dating from the 1940s.
This waistcoat is typical of those made and worn during the 1940s. Made from a very navy blue coloured wool, the waistcoat features a five button front and four welt pockets. The back of the waistcoat features a cinch back belt and buckle as is usually found during this period.
The waistcoat will suit a 36" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat measures -
Chest - 18 1/2"
Length - 19 1/2"
The waistcoat is in good condition for its age with only limited to signs of wear and use. There are two defects which are shown in the picture and could easily be repaired. Overall it displays well but please bear in mind that this is a vintage item which may have small issues commensurate with age.
