An original pair of 1985 dated US Army OG-507 utility fatigue trousers in a size 34x28.

This pattern of trousers is the same design as the OG-107 which was introduced in 1952 and stayed in service until 1981. These trousers are the OG-507 variant which are a polyester-cotton blend which was introduced in the early 1970s. Due to being in issue for so many years, including throughout the Vietnam war, these trousers have now become a design classic. Made in the new Army standard OG colour, these trousers feature large front pockets and belt loops around the waist. A brass 'IDEAL' brand zipper fastens the fly whilst the rear features two patch pockets which fasten with a button.

Inside the trousers the original label is still present and bears the title 'Trousers, Utility, Durable PRess, OG - 507, Type 1'. After this is the DLA number which dates the trousers to 1985. The size is marked as 36x29 and the maker's name is 'POK MFRS., Icn' is also present.

When laid flat the trousers measure -

Waist - 15"
Rise - 13"
Rear rise - 17"
Inside leg - 30"
Outside leg - 42"
Cuff - 9"

The trousers are in good, wearable condition as can be seen in the pictures. There are signs of wear and use as can be seen in the pictures. Please take time to study the pictures and bear in mind that these are a vintage, pre-worn pair of trousers.

A good original pair of 1960s US Military trousers!
