An original ladies French workwear chore dress which was made in 1969.
This style of work dress was popular for many years in France and were used for work, cleaning and other chores. It is made from a French blue coloured cotton and features a single breasted front which fastens with black coloured plastic buttons which are typically French in design. There are two large patch pockets to the front and the dress retains its original matching waist belt.
Inside the dress the original label is still present and bears the maker's name of .Gruson & Cie'. The size of 100 is also present as is the 1969 date. The label also states that the dress was made in Amiens in North France.
When laid flat the dress measures -

Outside arm - 22"
Shoulders - 15 1/2"
Length - 38 1/2"
The dress is in excellent condition with no signs of previous wear or use. Overall it presents very well and is totally wearable. Please study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that this is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
