An original six button 'All Wool' waistcoat by 'Dunn & Co' in a grey doeskin.
This type of waistcoat was extremely popular with men during the 1950s and 60s and formed a part of many wardrobes throughout this period.
The waistcoat features two upper welt pockets and lower flapped pockets to the front and mother of pearl style buttons. The backing is typical of the period and features a cinch back as many waistcoats do.
Inside the waistcoat retains its original Dunn and Co manufacturers label as well as a second label which reads 'Made from all pure wool in the west of England', both of which are typical of the period. A small dry cleaning label is also present to the interior which means this example was made after 1964.
The waistcoat will suit someone of a 36" chest depending on desired fit and measures a bit more than 18" pit to pit and 23" in length.
The overall condition of the waistcoat appears to be very good as can be seen in the photographs. It is very wearable and displays well but may have small issues commensurate with age.
These doeskin waistcoats are quintessentially English and are still a great choice today!
