An original men's collarless shirt in a green and blue needle stripe which was made by 'Consort' in the 1960s.

The shirt is typical of those made in the 1960s period featuring a full button front and is made from a lightweight poplin cotton in white with a fine needle-stripe of green and blue. This was a popular pattern for men's shirts during this period. The shirt features a neckband collar to which a detachable collar can be fitted. The cuffs are double cuffs which fold back on themselves and fasten with cufflinks.

Inside the shirt the original label is still present and is typical of those found on shirts from the 1960s. It is large and features the maker's name of 'Consort' in a classic period fint.

The shirt is a larger size which will fit a 40" - 42" chest depending on Desired fit. When laid flat measures -

Chest - 23 1/2"
Inside arm- 22 1/2"
Outside arm - 26 1/2"
Length - 33 1/2"
Shoulders - 19"
Collar 15 1/2"

The arm measurements were taken with the cuffs turned down so approximately 2 1/2" will need to be detracted for the actual measurement.

The shirt is in very good condition with some signs of wear and use and some limited staining. It may however have other small issues consummate with age so please take time to study the pictures.

A nice original period shirt in good condition and in a larger size.
