Original 1960s Blue French Workwear Chore Jacket by 'Kidur'

Original 1960s Blue French Workwear Chore Jacket by 'Kidur'

Code: 55191

An original French Chore Jacket in blue which was made by the brand 'Kidur' during the 1960s.

This type of jacket is synonymous with French artisans, workers and labourers of the mid-century period and is arguably the most iconic jacket ever produced in France.

This example dates approximately from the 1960s with the collar shape and label being indicators of this. It is made from the usual snaforised cotton used in France during this period due to it's hard wearing nature. It features three patch pockets to the front and a five button front which fastens with black coloured plastic buttons.

Inside the jacket the original label is still present and bears the maker's name of 'Kidur' who were a prolific manufacture in France during this period.

The jacket is a smaller size which will suit around a 38" chest. When laid flat the jacket measures -

Chest - 21”
Inside arm - 18 3/4”
Outside arm - 22 1/4”

The condition of the jacket is reasonable considering it is a vintage work piece. It has some signs of wear and limited staining etc. Please study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that this is a pre-worn, vintage work jacket which may have small flaws commensurate with age.

A good original example with its original label.
