An original men's night shirt made by 'Old England' in the 1950s.
This style of pyjama top was highly popular for many years in Great Britain and during this period were more often than not made from cotton, as this example is. The yellow, cream and two shade of blue striped pattern is typical of the era as are the buttons. A patch pocket is fitted to the chest.
Inside the jacket the original label is still present and states the makers name as 'Old England'. Below this is a size tag which reads '44'.
When laid flat the jacket measures -
Chest - 25"
Inside arm - 18 1/2"
Outside arm - 22"
Shoulders - 20"
As can be seen in the pictures the shirt is in well worn condition and has some flaws. Please study the pictures carefully before purchasing.
A classic British label from this period and a great colourway!
