A rare original pair of 1950s men's swimming trunks in a striking lime green colour.
These shorts are typical of those produced during the 1940s and 1950s. They are made from a lime green coloured jersey knit which may be bamboo rayon or similar and allows for plenty of stretch and a tight fit. There is a deco style pattern to the left side which is in a contrasting navy blue colour which is evocative of the period.
The shorts will fit around a 30" waist well and stretch from 14 1/2" to 16" at the waist when laid flat.
Overall the shorts are in very good condition with no signs of previous wear or use. They display well and are still totally wearable.
