A good original British Army 1937 Pattern Compass Pouch clearly dated 1941.
This pattern of pouch was introduced prior to the Second World War and saw service throughout the conflict and into the post-war years. It formed part of the officers webbing set. This example is in good condition with only limited signs of wear and use. The interior is marked with the 1941 date as well as the War Department broad arrow marking and the maker's initials of 'MECo' which denotes Mills Equipment Company.
A very good example with an early wartime date.
