An original men's five button navy blue waistcoat dating from the 1940s.
This waistcoat is typical of those made and worn during the 1940s. Made from a very dark navy blue coloured wool and lined with striped cotton, the waistcoat features a five button from and four welt pockets. The back of the waistcoat features a cinch back belt and buckle as is usually found during this period.
The waistcoat will suit a 38" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat measures -
Chest - 19"
Length - 22 1/2"
The waistcoat is in good condition for its age with only limited to signs of wear and use. Overall it displays well but please bear in mind that this is a vintage item which may have small issues commensurate with age.
