An original 1940s grey pinstripe waistcoat made in France.
This waistcoat is cut in a typical 1940s manner featuring a five button front and four welt pockets. It is made from a grey coloured herringbone wool material which features a subtle white striped pattern. The interior is lined and features a single pocket and the rear features the usual cinchback belt and buckle.
The waistcoat is a small size which will fit around a 34" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat measures -
Chest - 17 1/2"
Length at front - 22"
Length at back - 19"
The waistcoat is in worn condition as can be seen in the pictures. It is still very wearable but has plenty of signs of age and use which are to be expected of a vintage work piece of this age. Please study the pictures provided for the best idea of condition.
