An original men's collared shirt made in France in the 1940s.
This style of shirt was popular in France during the 1930s and 1940s. It features a spearpoint collar as was popular during this period and a half-placket front. It is made from a fine lightweight linen cotton mix in a solid indigo blue colour.
The shirt will fit someone with around a 40" chest depending on desired fit. When laid flat it measures -
Chest - 24"
Inside arm - 21 3/4"
Outside arm - 24"
Shoulders - 18"
Collar - 16"
The shirt is in used condition with some limited signs of wear and age. There are no serious flaws and it is still very wearable but please study the pictures carefully to get a good idea of the condition.
