Original 1940s European Made Men's Trousers

An original pair of black striped men's trousers made in Europe in the 1940s. 

These trousers are made from a black coloured stiped wool material and are typical of trousers made in northern Europe in the 1940s. The trousers feature a high rise waist, button fly and wide leg. More buttons are located around the waist to which braces can be fitted and to the rear are two 'rabbit ear' tabs to which braces button at the rear - a typical feature in this period in Germany and its neighouring countries. A ticket pocket is located to the waist and waist adjusters are fitted to each hip. The rear of the trousers features two pockets.   

The trousers will suit someone of around a 38" waist depending on desired fit. When laid flat they measure - 

Waist - 19"
Rise - 15"
Rear rise - 18 1/2"
Inside leg - 30 1/2"
Outside leg - 43"
Cuff - 10"

The overall condition of the trousers is very good with some signs of wear and use. There are some marks to the front of the trousers which have been reflected in the price but overall they look very wearable. Please study the pictures and bear in mind that these are a pre-worn pair of vintage trousers which are roughly 80 years old and may have small issues commensurate with age.
