An original pair of black moleskin men's trousers made in Europe in the 1940s.

These trousers are made from a black coloured moleskin material and are typical of trousers made in northern Europe in the 1940s. This material was popular in France as well as other european countries as it is a warm, hard wearing material making them ideal for working in. The trousers feature waist adjusters with brass buckles which are typical of this period. They also feature a high rise waist, button fly and wide leg. More buttons are located around the waist to which braces can be fitted and the trousers feature slash pockets to the hips and a flapped pocket to the rear.

The trousers will suit someone of around a 34" waist depending on desired fit. When laid flat they measure -

Waist - 17"
Rise - 14"
Rear rise - 19"
Inside leg - 28 1/2"
Outside leg - 40"
Cuff - 9"

The overall condition of the trousers is very good with some signs of wear and use.  Please study the pictures and bear in mind that these are a pre-worn pair of vintage trousers which are roughly 80 years old and may have small issues commensurate with age.

Altogether a nice pair of mid Century European made men's workwear trousers with some great period details!
