A scarce original British made leather waistcoat made in the 1940s and in good condition.
This style of waistcoat was popular during the inter-war period with working men as well as for racing motorsports. The jacket is made from a light tan coloured leather and features contrasting red buttons to the front. Plain and utilitarian in design, the waistcoat has no labels. It does however have the number 36 written inside which refers to chest size.
When laid flat it measures -
Chest - 18"
Length - 21 1/2"
The waistcoat is in good condition for its age with some signs of wear etc. It is still very wearable but please take time to study the pictures before purchasing.
A great piece of original British outerwear!
