SOLD

An original pair of black wool men's trousers dating from the 1920s.

These trousers are made from a soft, black coloured wool and are typical of the Edwardian period and 1920s featuring a flat front, high rise waist, fishtail cut to the rear and a narrow, 8" cuff. The fly fastens with buttons and more buttons can be found at the waist to which braces can be fitted. A small ticket pocket is located to the front of the trousers whilst the rear features a welt pocket which fastens with a button.

The trousers will suit someone of around a 31" waist depending on desired fit. When laid flat they measure -

Waist - 15 1/4"
Rise - 13 1/2"
Rear rise - 19"
Inside leg - 29"
Outside leg - 40 1/2"
Cuff - 8"

The overall condition of the trousers is very good although there are a few moth holes to the crotch and two marks to the rear, all of which are detailed in the pictures and reflected in the price.

Altogether nice early pair of men's trousers made from a lovely, soft feeling wool and with some great period details!
