An original men's collarless shirt which was made in France during the 1960s.
The shirt is typical of those made in the 1960s period. It is made from a lightweight poplin cotton in white with a fine striped pattern and features a full button front and is much more fitted than shirts from the previous few decades. The shirt features a neckband collar to which a detachable collar can be fitted. The cuffs are a simple barrel cuff which fasten with a single button.
Inside the shirt the original label is still present and is typical of those found on shirts from the 1960s. It features the letter 'C' in blue against a red triangular shaped field.
The shirt is a medium size which will fit a 38" chest depending on Desired fit. When laid flat measures -
Chest - 22 1/2"
Inside arm- 21"
Outside arm - 23 1/2"
Length - 31"
Shoulders - 18"
The shirt is in good condition with some signs of wear and use and some limited staining. It may however have other small issues consummate with age so please take time to study the pictures.
