An original 1950s men's three button corduroy jacket which was made in France by 'Vestra'.
The jacket is made from a thick soft corduroy which is a deep brown colour. It is cut in a typical style for the period with flapped pockets to the skirt and a single rear vent. There is a welt pocket to the left breast and the front fastens with three buttons. The cuff features three buttons and is none functioning.
Inside the jacket is lined with a silver coloured drill. There are two internal pockets below one of which is the maker's label which bears the brand name of 'Vestra'.
The jacket is a larger size which will suit around a 42" - 44"chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat measures -
Chest - 24"
Inside arm - 16 1/2"
Outside arm - 24 3/4"
Shoulders - 19 1/2"
Length at back - 30 1/2"
The jacket is in good condition and is still very wearable. There are no serious flaws but signs of wear and use. The central button hole is slightly worn and there is a short pull to the armpit as illustrated in the pictures. This is a vintage, pre-worn jacket so may have other small issues commensurate with age. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing.
A nice mid Century jacket in a harder to find large size.
