An original Post Second World War RAF 'Blouse Home Dress NP', sometimes also called 'War Service Dress, New Pattern'.
This blouse dates from the early 1950s and features Leading Aircraftsman insignia to each sleeve as well as black kings crown buttons to the pockets.
Inside the jacket the original label is still present and states the size as number 8 which will fit someone up to 5' 8" tall with a 37-38" chest. The RAF stores code can be made out along the bottom of the label as can the War Department broad arrow marking. The original owners number is present stamped across the top of the label.
The overall condition of the jacket is fair from perfect and it has suffered slightly from moth damage. This has been included in the photographs and reflected in the price.
Altogether a reasonable RAF blouse which could benefit from a little TLC.
