An original Post Second World War RAF 'Blouse Home Dress NP', sometimes also called 'War Service Dress, New Pattern'.
This blouse dates from 1956 and features Leading Aircraftsman insignia to each sleeve as well as black kings crown buttons to the pockets.
Inside the jacket the original label is still present and states the size as number 12 which is designed to fit a 40-41" chest. When laid flat it measures -
Chest - 22 1/2"
Inside arm - 20"
Outside arm - 26"
Length - 22"
The jacket is in average condition for its age with signs of wear and use as well as some staining. Please study the pictures as they form part of the description.
All in all a reasonable example of this pattern of jacket in a good size.
