An original pair of 1953 dated French Army boxer shorts in new old stock, unworn condition.
These shorts are made from a lightweight khaki coloured linen and feature twin buttons to the front and an adjustable strap to the rear. Inside the shorts the original stamps are still present and are bright and legible. This includes the maker's name, the size of 3 and the 1953 date.
The shorts will suit around a 30" waist depending on desired fit and when laid flat they measure -
Waist - 15 1/2"
Rise - 13 1/2"
Rear rise - 16 1/2"
Inside leg - 6"
Outside leg - 18"
Cuff - 11 1/2"
The shorts are in very good condition with no previous signs of wear or use. There are some light marks from storage so please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that they are a vintage, pre-owned item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
