Original 1952 Pattern French Army Wool Crew Neck Pullover Jumper

Original 1952 Pattern French Army Wool Crew Neck Pullover Jumper

Code: 54520

SOLD

An original 1952 Pattern French Army Wool Pullover Crew Neck Jumper in new old stock, unworn condition.

This pattern of jumper closely follows the pattern used by the French Army during the Second World War. It is cut short in the body to suit being worn with high waisted trousers. This makes it ideal for someone who wears this style or a re-enactor interested in WW2.

These jumpers are made from a khaki green wool typical of the period. They are new old stock items which have come straight from French Army Surplus. They feature three stripes to the front which denotes it as a 1952 pattern.

The shade of green can vary slightly as shown in the pictures.

This example is a size 7 which equates to a 40" chest.

These jumpers stretch out with wear. I have been wearing 2 different examples for 4-5 years now and they have stretched under the arms, across the chest to fit my body. Whilst they may seem tight to begin with I suggest buying the size you wear as labelled on the jumper.

Condition is new old stock but may need washing as they have been in storage for many years.

Each jumper is slightly different and may have signs of age etc. You will be sent one jumper similar to those pictured from my stock.

A great original period jumper which would look great with both modern and vintage clothes!
