An original pair of French Army M1952 pattern trousers in good condition.
This pattern of trousers was introduced in 1952 and were produced for around 10 years. They are made from a light tan coloured cotton drill and feature a button fly, single pleated front, separate waistband and belt loops. There are straight slash pockets located to each hip and two flapped rear pockets which denote these as the late model. The pants are cut in a typical period manner with a wide leg and medium rise. Inside the trousers the original manufacturer's stamps are still present
The trousers will suit a 36" waist and when laid flat they measure -
Waist - 17"
Rise - 13 1/2"
Rear rise - 17 1/2"
Inside leg - 32"
Outside leg - 44"
Cuff - 10"
The trousers are in good condition with signs of wear and use. They are still very wearable with no serious flaws. There is a small loss of stitching at the seat although there is another line of stitching next to this making it more superficial than anything else. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that they are a pre-owned pair of vintage trousers which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
