An original British Army camouflage scrim net scarf face veil dating from the post Second World War period.
These scarves were introduced in 1942 as a means to aid personal concealment. They were intended to be fitted over the man's back and shoulders to break up the outline of his shape and his equipment but were also used as scarves and as a face veil.
This example came with a uniform grouping and is a guaranteed original item and is not a reproduction. It is in good, used condition and displays well.
A nice original post-war item.
