An original 1960s Glengarry fitted with a 52nd Lowland Volunteers cap badge.
This style of hat was used by various Scottish regiments throughout the 20th Century. This example appears to date from the 1960s as it bears the old style sizing of 6 7/8. It is fitted with a 52nd Lowland Volunteers cap badge - Formed in 1967 when various Territorial Battalions within the infantry Regiments of the Lowland Brigade were amalgamated.
The cap features a 'diced' head band of red white a navy blue and grosgrain tails to the rear. A red toorie, or pom-pom is fitted to the top as is commonly found.
The cap is in good condition with some signs of wear and use. Please study the pictures before purchasing.
All in all a nice example!
