An original British military Khaki Drill Bush jacket which dates from the 1950s.

The jacket is typical of the era in many ways and is of the style worn by both the British Army and the RAF. It is made from a khaki coloured cotton drill and is fitted with butterscotch coloured revolving shank buttons. Breast pockets feature scalloped flaps and flapped pockets can be found on the skirt. Epaulettes are located to the shoulders and there is a pointed cuff to the end of each sleeve. The collar has had two stitched holes in each side, most likely for fitting badges.

The jacket will suit someone of around a 36" chest and when laid flat measures -

Chest - 20"
Inside arm - 20 1/4"
Outside arm - 26 1/2"
Shoulders - 16 1/2"
Length 32 1/2"

The tunic is in very good condition as can be seen in the pictures. It only shows very limited signs of wear and use and overall has a very fresh and clear look. It is of course a vintage, pre-owned item so may have small issues commensurate with age. Please study the pictures before purchasing.

A nice original KD tunic in good condition with some nice period details.
