An original British Army officer's jungle green bush jacket with matching trousers.

This uniform was tailor made for an officer serving with HQ Land Forces Hong Kong during the 1950s. It is made from a green coloured rayon material which is lightweight and ideally suited to hot climates. The jacket is made in a classic bush jacket style with a full button front and patch pockets to the chest and bellows pockets to the skirt. 'Staybrite' Royal Signals buttons are fitted throughout and the matching waist belt is fitted with a staybrtie buckle. Embroidered HQ Land Forces Hong Kong patches are fitted to the top of each sleeve whilst inside the tunic the original label is still present. It bears the maker's name of 'Punjab House' as well as the Hong Kong address and telephone number.

The trousers are cut in a typical 1950s manner with a twin pleated front and a high rise waist. Belt loops are positioned around the waist and side adjusters are located to each hip.

The suit will suit a smaller build of around a 35" chest and 29" waist. When laid flat it measures -

Jacket
Chest - 19"
Waist - 15"
Shoulders - 16 1/2"
Length - 31"

Trousers
Waist - 14 1/2"
Inside leg - 31"

The uniform is in nice condition with no serious wear or flaws. Overall it displays very well and looks to be very. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-owned item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.

A nice original uniform made from a great rayon material!
