An original British Police Duty band, sometimes referred to as an 'armlet', in good condition.
These armbands were worn for many years by the police to show when they were on duty. They were also issued to special constables and were worn with civilian clothing.
The armband is made from a woven wool and features white and blue stripes. It is adjustable using a simple loop to hold it in position.
A nice original item in good condition.
