An original First World War Royal Field Artillery slip-on cloth shoulder title made in mercerised cotton.
These mercerised cotton shoulder titles were introduced from September 1917 as a further simplification in design from the embroidered melton type.
The rear features a pinked cotton strip to attach the title to the epaulette.
