An original embroidered First World War period Army Pay Corps slip-on shoulder title.
These embroidered shoulder titles were produced from April 1916 as an economy measure. The badge is made from khaki coloured wool melton and has some damage as shown.
The rear of the badge features a woven strip to allow the badge to be worn on the epaulette.
