A nice original US Army Air Force Ike jacket in a 36 long with some nice original insignia and in good wearable condition.
This original jacket has been modified by the original owner who has added a zipper to the front and had the whole jacket re-lined. The zipper is a period brass 'Talon' example which functions well. The original size tag has been left in the lining which tells us that the jacket was made as a 36L.
The jacket features an original US 8th Air Force patch to the top of the left sleeve, a set of what I believe are theatre made lucite medal ribbons which are very nice, a unit citation above the right breast pocket and a lanyard.
The jacket is in good overall condition and displays well.
Overall a nice original US Air Force jacket with some great period features which make it stand out from the rest.
