A hard to find original Royal Air Force 1937 pattern compass pouch in good used condition.
This pattern of pouch is the same as was made for the British Army but is made in the blue grey coloured webbing used by the RAF. The exterior has been blancoed with the RAF shade of blanco and the interior features a padded felt section to cushion the compass when fitted. The original markings are present to the underside of the flap although are hard to read. The War Department broad arrow is nice and clear however.
The overall condition of the pouch is good with some signs of wear and age. There are no serious flaws or damage and overall its displays very well.
A nice example of this hard to find piece of webbing.
