An original stores chore style coat which was made in Italy in 1990.
This style of coat was popular throughout the 20th Century for a variety of types of work from cleaning to shop work or for use in workshops. The coat is made from a khaki coloured linen and features a button front as well as three patch pockets. The cuff is an interesting design which fastens with a single button. The rear of the coat features a half belt which is a nice workwear feature.
Inside the coat the original labels are all still present which would suggest that it is a deadstock, unworn coat.
The coat will suit around a 38" chest depending on desired fit and when laid flat it measures -
Chest - 22 1/2"
Inside arm - 20 1/2"
Outside arm - 25"
Shoulders - 19"
Length at rear - 43"
The coat is in very good condition with no signs of previous wear or use. It is however a vintage item so please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-owned item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
