Original Deadstock 1960s British Denim Jeans - Size 30

Code: 55322

SOLD

An original pair of 1960s British jeans made by 'Bobby Ranch' which are in deadstock, unworn condition.

These jeans are typical of the early to mid 1960s. They are made from a characteristically papery feeling denim which is a classic blue shade. The bottom of each leg features a 'jam jar' turn-up which shows the contrasting lighter denim colour of the reverse side. The jeans were made and supplied with the cuff like this as was a highly popular style at the time. Large pockets are fitted to the front and two more patch pockets are located to the seat. Belt loops are fitted around the waist and these, along with the pockets, have white painted rivets fitted to strengthen them. The fly fastens with a 'YKK' branded zipper and the top fastens with a metal press stud. A brown leather tag is fitted to the rear which features the brand name 'Bobby'.

Inside the trousers the original label is still present and reads 'Made in the British Crown Colony 'Bobby' washable. The waist size is stated as 30 and the leg length as 42.

To the rear of the jeans the original paper label is still present and bears typical period graphics which reflect the Western influence on denim sold in Great Britain which so often used graphics depicting cowboys or similar.

The jeans were designed to fit a 30" waist. When laid flat they measure -

Waist - 14 3/4"
Rise - 14"
Rear rise -
Inside leg - 29"
Outside leg - 41 1/2"
Cuff - 6 3/4"

The jeans are in deadstock, unworn condition and still even have their cardboard label to the rear. They have never been worn but may have small issues commensurate with age so please take time to study the pictures before purchasing.

A rare opportunity to buy a pair of deadstock British made jeans from the 1960s in unworn condition!
