An original 1950s corduroy double breasted jacket which is in excellent condition and was made in Amsterdam by 'Fa . E. Palm & Co'.

This style of jacket was popular in Europe during the early part of the 20th Century and has a typical silhouette for the period. It is made from a thick, brown coloured corduroy and features an 8 x 2 button stance which gives it a very European look. Flapped pockets are located to the skirt and there is a welt pocket to the breast. The rear of the jacket features no vents which is typical of mid Century men's jackets. The jacket also has peaked lapels which is yet another feature typical of jackets from this era.

The interior of the jacket is lined with a silver-grey coloured rayon material and features two interior pockets and a hanging loop to the neck. The original label is also present inside the jacket and is in keeping with the period.

The jacket will suit a 38" chest and when laid flat it measures -

Chest - 21 1/2"
Inside arm - 18"
Outside arm - 26"
Shoulders - 17 1/4"
Length at rear - 29"

The jacket is in good condition for its age and is still totally wearable. There are some signs of wear and age but overall it displays well. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small issues commensurate with age.

A very nice original Dutch jacket with some great details.

This is a vintage item which is 'sold as seen'
