A fantastic original British made men's flap cap dating from the 1940s which is in very good condition.
This hat is typical of those produced in Great Britain during the 1930s and 1940s. It is a single dart construction example as was popular during this period. It is made from black coloured wool cloth and the front of the cap fastens onto the peak with a metal press stud. The interior of the cap is lined with a golden coloured rayon material and bears the maker's name of 'Celtic Brand' and the words 'Rainproof and unbreakable peak.

The hat is in good condition with some signs of wear and previous use. There is some wear around the edges of the interior lining but there are no serious flaws and overall it is still a very wearable hat. Please take time to study the pictures before purchasing and bear in mind that it is a vintage, pre-worn item which may have small flaws commensurate with age.
